Second altered journal cover. Found the bird picture and made a branch from a dictionary page. 

My first altered journal cover. Textured paper with Lumiere paints, then rubber stamps and decoupaged fish and butterfly. Finished with Chinese coins. Inside the front cover is a pocket with journal prompts printed on self-adhesive labels.

My first cover! I just got my copy of Somerset Studio Gallery Volume IV and was thrilled to see one of my pieces on the cover and two more inside.

Our Las Vegas adventure!

Here's the view from our room at the Worldmark Resort at Las Vegas. The weather was beautiful while we were there - high 60s to low 70s - just perfect.

Carla, watch out!!!! That's a Gorn trying to attack Carla at the Star Trek Experience at the Las Vegas Hilton. A little cheesy, but actually fun. We went on both of the "rides" and then had lunch at Quark's (there was a Ferengi hanging around, too). They even had shops at the Promenade where you can buy a Borg teddy bear, believe it or not. 

It's OK - I took care of him!

The Statue of Liberty at New York New York. We rode the roller coaster there earlier in the day - fun and scary. On our last night, we ate at "Nine Fine Irishman" pub at NYNY - very beautiful woodwork and good food, too.
