Here's the laundry area next to the kitchen.

We went from a side-by-side Washer/Dryer to full-size stacking Washer/Dryer from LG.
That left us space for our new flushing litter box, storage above and even a counter for folding.
I couldn't get a decent picture, but opposite the counter is a new cupboard with pull-out shelves with extra storage for cat food, etc. The big bonus here is that we finally got the dryer venting issue solved so it takes much less time to dry a load of clothes (and we don't have to run the dryer hose through the kitchen every time).
